Human is lizzard, communicate through emotions.
communication starts from physical, chemical eventually biological of what we call emotional
before it becomes mental or linguistic
mental or linguistic communication starts from kinestetis (concrete), icon, and eventually symbols (abstract)
However, we are still communicate emotionally
mental communication can be used to soften or civilized even to cover up our basic desires
that's what makes us human, the ability to be diplomatic

iconic and symbolic language is based on kinestatic language, such as basic metaphors.
