HYPOCRISY

WE ARE NATURAL PRODUCT WHO IS ABLE TO LEARN
IN LEARNING, WE ARE NURTURED BY ENVIRONMENT
NATURALLY, WE HAVE GENETIC TEMPERAMENT, ACTIVE/PASSIVE, SOCIALLY EASY/DIFFICULT, SENSITIVE/NOT SENSITIVE
THIS IS OUR BASIC FOUNDATION AND BELOW AWARENESS
SELF IS BELOW AWARENESS FROM THE BEGINNING
ONLY LATER WE DEVELOP COGNITION/MIND AS ADDITION TO OUR SENSES
SOME OF OUR TEMPERAMENT IS ACCEPTABLE BY OUR ENVIRONMENT, SOME IS NOT.
IN ORDER TO FIT IN, WE HAVE TO SUBMERGE OUR TEMPERAMENT
AND LEARN TO ACT THAT INVITE REWARDS AND APPROVAL
WE LEARN TO PRETEND SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE  BEHAVIOR AND HIDE SOCIALLY UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR AND TEMPERAMENT.

IN LEARNING, WE COGNIZE INFORMATION AND AFTER REPEATED ACTION, IT BECOMES AUTOMATIC AND IS SENT TO BELOW AWARENESS
THIS IS ANOTHER PART OF OUR SELVES, SELF THAT WE LEARN
WE LEARN BY WATCHING OTHERS' BEHAVIOR
WE LEARN TO BE VICTIMIZER/VICTIM.
WE PUNISH THOSE WHO VICTIMIZE BUT WE LET OURSELVES VICTIMIZE OTHERS
WE DEVELOP ALTER EGO TO PUNISH THOSE VICTIMIZER BUT OURSELVES
AN ADDICT BECOME COUNSELOR, A SEX OFFENDER BECOME AN ADVOCATE FOR VICTIM.
WE HIDE BEHIND THIS MASK OF ALTER EGO TO HIDE OUR VICTIMIZING BEHAVIOR

HE ACTUALLY LIKE THE BEHAVIOR, BOTH NATURALLY OR LEARNED, BUT BECAUSE IT IS NOT ACCEPTABLE, HE HIDES IT AND THINK THAT HE HATES IT. IT'S HYPOCRITE OR MUNAFIK. PRETEND/FALSE APPEARANCE.

SO, HYPOCRISY IS PRETENDING TO BE A SOCIAL SAVIOUR WHO HATES AND CONDEMN SOCIALLY UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIORS TO HIDE HIS OWN BEHAVIORS. AN ADDICT WILL HATE ADDICT, A GOSSIPER WILL HATE GOSSIP, A HYPOCRITE WILL HATE A HYPOCRITE. HE IS TRYING TO REDEEM SELF BY HATING WHAT SOCIETY HATE TO BE ACCEPTED. HOWEVER, SAYING HATING IT AND HATING IT IS TOTALLY DIFFERENT.

INDIVIDUALLY, THE BEHAVIOR IS PLEASURABLE BUT SOCIALLY UNACCEPTABLE. SO A PERSON PRETEND TO MAINTAIN IMAGE. SO, WHEN A PERSON TALK ABOUT OTHERS' BAD BEHAVIORS, HE IS CONVINCING OTHERS AND SELF THAT HE DIDN'T HAVE THE BEHAVIORS. SO HE HAS TO KEEP REMINDING SELF AND OTHERS TO KEEP SECRET OF THAT BEHAVIOR. HE IS TRYING TO CONVINCE SELF AND OTHERS TO BELIEVE THAT HE DIDN'T DO THAT PARTICULAR BEHAVIOR. THAT'S WHY HE ONLY FOCUS ON BEHAVIORS THAT HE FINDS TROUBLESOME TO COVER UP. HE WILL TALK ABOUT OTHERS' BAD BEHAVIORS AND HOW HE IS THE OPPOSITE OF THAT BEHAVIORS WHERE HE IS ACTUALLY TALKING ABOUT HIS OWN BEHAVIORS. HE IS TRYING TO USE THE OPPORTUNITY TO HIDE HIS BEHAVIOR BY TALKING ABOUT THE BEHAVIOR THAT "HE DID NOT" DO BEFORE PEOPLE FIND OUT ABOUT HIS BEHAVIOR. HE WILL POINT TO OTHERS/BLAME OTHERS OF THE BEHAVIORS SO THE FOCUS IS OFF HIM.
HE IS TRYING TO RECONVINCE PEOPLE AND SELF AGAIN AND AGAIN THAT HE DOES NOT HAVE THAT FLAW BY FOCUSING ON OTHERS AND ACTING THAT HE HATES IT AND THUS COVERING UP HIS OWN. HE THUS CLOSE HIS EYES ON HIS OWN BEHAVIOR AND WAS NOT AWARE

HYPOCRISY IS DENIAL OF SELF. IT'S DEFENSE MECHANISM.

C. G. Jung a few times referred to the hypocrisy of people who are not aware of the dark or shadow-side of their nature.
Every individual needs revolution, inner division, overthrow of the existing order, and renewal, but not by forcing them upon his neighbors under the hypocritical cloak of Christian love or the sense of social responsibility or any of the other beautiful euphemisms for unconscious urges to personal power (Jung, 1966:5).
It is under all circumstances an advantage to be in full possession of one's personality, otherwise the repressed elements will only crop up as a hindrance elsewhere, not just at some unimportant point, but at the very spot where we are most sensitive. If people can be educated to see the shadow-side of their nature clearly, it may be hoped that they will also learn to understand and love their fellow men better. A little less hypocrisy and a little more self-knowledge can only have good results in respect for our neighbor; for we are all too prone to transfer to our fellows the injustice and violence we inflict upon our own natures (Jung, 1966:par. 28).
In New Paths in Psychology (1916) Jung pointedly referred to the "hypocritical pretenses of man".
Dream-analysis above all else mercilessly uncovers the lying morality and hypocritical pretences of man, showing him, for once, the other side of his character in the most vivid light (Jung, 1966:par. 437).
